Invited session 11: Motivating companies, academia and research organisations to participate in EU research

The session is going to have a form of an interactive discussion on the topic how to motivate companies, organisations, research centres, and universities to submit or contribute to proposals in EU research projects. Ensuring a stronger connection between Horizon Europe and Europe’s Rail JU should allow a greater amount of synergies between European and National research and innovation programmes, especially in the field of railways.

Invited session 27: EU programmes to support the market uptake of innovative road transport solutions

The aim of this session is to inform about EU funding and financing opportunities beyond Horizon Europe, which can help to bring new road transport technologies and systems to the market and increase the competitiveness of European industry in the road transport sector (e.g. in the field of electromobility and CCAM). ‘Success stories’ of projects, that have already reached the market and that had initially received support for R&I, deployment and scaling-up of innovative road transport solutions will be presented.
