TRA2022 presented at the UNECE Inland Transport Committee (ITC)

On 22nd February 2022, the UNECE Inland Transport Committee (ITC) gathered in Geneva for promoting the Inland transport connectivity.  Steve Phillips, Secretary-General at CEDR, and Eduardo Feio, President of IMT, attended the event  where they highlighted the role of TRA 2022 Lisbon as a unique European Transport and Mobility innovation event and the opportunities it presents to the UNECE ITC.

CEDR and IMT presented the TRA2022 Lisbon Conference to the ITC stakeholders and shared how it can bring together researchers, policy makers and industry representatives and promote a lively debate on the ways that research, innovation, and the implementation of new ideas can contribute to reimagine a more efficient, safer, carbon-free, inclusive, and sustainable transport in all its modes.

The Inland Transport Committee (ITC) is the UN platform for inland transport to help efficiently address global and regional needs in inland transport. In the course of the last 75 years, together with its subsidiary bodies, the ITC has provided an intergovernmental forum, where UNECE and United Nations Member States come together to forge tools for economic cooperation and negotiate and adopt international legal instruments on inland transport.
