The Road Traffic Control Centre from Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) – Portuguese road and railway administration – is located in Almada, on the south bank of the Tagus River. It monitors road traffic in real-time, supporting traffic flow and user assistance. In addition, real-time information is available to the users through variable signs, digital platforms and call centres.
